A simple way to think about it. Conventional care asks "what is the diagnosis, and what manages it?" Functional medicine asks "why is this happening, and what can we change at the root?" Both questions matter. The best outcomes usually come from having both.

Who we help most. People with autoimmune and thyroid conditions, peripheral neuropathy, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, long COVID, migraines, and concussion or TBI recovery — especially those who've been through the standard workup and want someone to dig deeper into causes.

About the person providing care. Care is led by Dr. John Ratcliffe, DC, DACRB, DACBN — a board-certified clinical nutritionist and functional medicine practitioner with advanced training in functional neurology and electrodiagnostics. Based in Sterling and serving all of Northern Virginia.

The practical details. Pay-as-you-go: $350 for each of your first three visits, about $200 for follow-ups, no contracts or large upfront fees. Visits aren't billed to insurance; outside lab testing often is. HSA and FSA cards welcome. Telehealth available.

Not sure if it's the right fit alongside your current care? That's exactly what the free phone consultation is for. Book a free 15-minute call and we'll give you an honest answer.
